French Rendezvous will once again be partnering with the most important national
and public arts and cultural institutions to deliver an amazing selection of artistic and cultural events across the nation for 2008.

French Rendez-vous CEO Digby Wren announced the expanded program in Paris
during the 2007 Rugby World Cup, revealing a selection of high profile events including; two touring companies of contemporary
French music, a film and live music extraveganza, CineMix and, a series of art exhibitions and events from contemporary French artists as well as an extensive
Francophile lecture series and seminar program.
One month of non-stop music, dance, circus, street theatre and visual arts from all
the corners of the French and Francophone world.

We've also teamed with TV movie channels for a month of cinema and FM radio for French classical and contemporary music that will add an extra sparkle to your whole French Rendezvous experience.
Over 150 world-class events will feature artists from across Australia and the world will be performing and exhibiting for the duration of the French Rendezvous
as part of the largest French cultural festival ever held in Australia. So if you want to feel French for a while you can catch a concert, see a circus,
walk amongst street performers, be dazzled by visual spectacles, celebrate Australia’s French past, enjoy an array of exhibitions and stroll through
Left Bank antique and collectable markets in each city.
Australia's six capital cities will be buzzing day and night across city locations, parks, music venues, art galleries, at cinemas and right across the
CBD's. The excitement will also reach out across the regions, with regional festivals in major towns and villages. And all the great experiences of French Rendezvous
