    The Rendez-vous program officially kicked-off with Opening Gala evenings, presenting lingerie fashion parades and champagne parties in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
 
    GastronomiCity is a celebration of gastronomy with a programme of French flavours across a range of metropolitan restaurants and was officially launched with a degustation menu including champagnes, fine wines and exotic cuisine creations at Sydneys iconic Bilsons Restaurant.
 
   

The opening of this very unique and eye-engaging exhibition showcasing French fashion illustration greats such as Charles ANASTASE, Jean-Philippe DELHOMME and Florence DEYGAS was a who’s who of Sydney and Australian fashion as well as top executives from many leading French Brands. The Strand Arcade is one of Sydney’s finest shopping galleries and is well-lit and spacious, a perfect space for works which have appeared in Vogue, Barneys New York, Hermes, Elle and for advertising houses worldwide

 
    Cool, intense and hypnotic, France's most daring contemporary actress is celebrated in a retrospective charting an iconic screen career. A Women Of Many Faces - An exhibition of photographic portraits of the iconic French actress by leading international photographers.
 
    France’s most renowned political caricaturist, Jean Plantureux, better known as Plantu, visited Sydney and presented Lunch at the Alliance Française for the 2007 French Rendezvous.
